Our boards are about to enter the international competition scene. We are proud to announce a new member in our Pro-Team: Junes Denkler AKA Noussa. Noussa lives in El Gouna, a flat-water paradise in Egypt. She started kitesurfing early 2011 and has progressed to a freestyle powerhouse in no time. Before starting to kite, Noussa has been skateboarding for years, this skate-background makes up for a very powerful riding style. Noussa has placed second on the Kitejamboree 2011, her first competition a few month after starting to kite. This made her the Number 1 female kitesurfer in Egypt. Noussa has trained hard since then, won several other competitions and is now just a few days away from her first appearance on the international competition scene.
Noussa is currently in St. Peter Ording, Germany where the largest event of the PKRA world tour takes place from the 12th to the 21st of July.
Let's see if this water-woman can already place herself in the top ranks with little international competition experience. One thing we can say...once she's on fire even the best girls in freestyle-kitesurfing will have to work hard to beat her! Watch out girls, you are about to meet the future of female freestyle kitesurfing!
We are excited to have this talented rider in our team, and wish Noussa good luck and all the best for the competition in Germany.
We will keep you up-to-date what's happening on the PKRA stop in Germany, and we're also having an interview with Noussa coming up. Don't miss it! Keep your eyes on our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages next week!
